We all need a little inspiration now and then and what better way than Before and After photos.  Check this transformation out!

I normally have some of these mushroom containers kicking around.  Normally I would not have thought twice about tossing these out but after seeing this I might just hang onto them a little longer.

It seems even kids have too much stuff nowadays.  The toy rooms are overflowing and bins are filled to the brim yet "I'm bored" can often be heard coming from their mouths.  Why not try some of these unique homemade crafts and ideas to keep the little ones amused.  With summer vacation nearing this may come in handy to maintain sanity until fall.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

Re: Weekend roundup

Hey Niki!
Love the new place!
Saw your posts;
I'm flattered to hear that you could use so many of my recipes!
What a compliment! That really blesses me!

Butter beans are really like lima beans. You can buy them dry, the little ones are usually lima and the bigger are often called butter beans, or large lima beans. (Those kind are with dried pintos, navy beans, split peas, etc.) TheSPECKLED butter beans are usually found in the freezer section. I can usually get a 16oz bag for .99, at Save-a-lot or Dollar General Market. Really a good bean! They also have 'peas' like that too that are super good. There's also a name brand called Picked Sweet, I think, that has these in the freezer section.

Here's my recipe for baked beans: http://momsfrugal.blogspot.com/2008/02/baked-beans-lunch.html

It's a wacky recipe but really good!

About the french bread, I think you will enjoy that recipe. It's really easy and makes a bunch. Be looking for a post about what I did with the leftover bread, if you get a chance. (Sliced it and made veggie pizza bread with a salad for lunch!) You can freeze the extras or cool them and wrap them in foil and give them to a neighbor!;-)

Always a joy to hear from you!

Re: Weekend roundup

Thanks for the extra traffic my way:)

My church uses similar foam trays for our annual cookie sale; it's a great way to recycle AND save a few bucks in supplies!
