Like my new little "camping" manual? When we arrived at the campsite we had the wonderful job of opening boxes of new equipment (stove, air mattress and tent). Along side these came pages and pages of instructions and when the dust settled we were left with 5 different manuals that I wanted to keep handy for next time. Upon returning, I immediately gathered them up, tossed the versions in the 6 languages that we don't speak and kept the rest neatly tucked away in page protectors in a folder. This book is kept with the camp gear in one of the totes containing all of our outdoor basics. Next year when we are both staring at each other trying desperately to remember where the 9 segments poles go, I can easily grab this little manual and find out. Works for me. Check out Rocks in my dryer for other great tips.

Re: Which pole goes where?
Great idea. Some people need the manuals and it's pure genius sticking them in one bag and keeping it with the camping materials. Go you!

Re: Which pole goes where?
Anything that let's us actually spend more time camping than setting up camp is awesome! Great tip. www.momsmarbles.com

Re: Which pole goes where?
ummm maybe you should have tried the stuff out before hand. Glad nothing was broken, ie a tent pole. Now that could have been interesting. So you going to tent again? or did I see you now looking for a trailer?

Re: Which pole goes where?
Thought of doing that but never seems to be the time. The tents nowadays are pretty user friendly, not like when I was a kid. Yup I think we are going to a tent trailer. Not liking the whole packing thing and the sleeping on the ground thing LOL.

Niki, you ought to be cloned, LoL.
I love watching/reading such an organized mind... and wishing mine was more so. I am presently de-cluttering hoping it will lead to more organization around here..we'll see;)

Re: Which pole goes where?
ONe more thing..I was transferring your link to a new blogger list that shows when you post and what the subject matter is, but blogger said it couldn't read your rms(?) feed. I know you can deliberately set it to do so, but I wasn't sure if you had, or if you just didn't know it was set that way. A lot of blogs are starting to use this list, so I'm quessing it will come up with others as well. Someone also told me that usually if blogger can't read your feed, then google can't pick it up as well. Just thought I'd pass the information on.
