The Organizing Blog - Back to the Top

I was recently asked and honoured to do a guest post at a wonderful new site called "Happy to be at Home"  This blog is made up of three moms, Kate, Joy and Toni,  with their own blogs I might add, who bring forth a wealth of information and ideas to this new joint venture.  Please check it out and take a second to check out my post, I would love to know what you think.

I thought I would leave you with a short video of my oldest taking the youngest for his very first Gator ride.  This was a gift from Grampie and one that was not taken lightly.  In actual fact this "gift" has received plenty of use in the past year, with 50 acres of property it comes in handy for the kids to get to and from the barn and has also been useful in helping Grampie carry tools to and from the barn when working on projects.

Re: Guest post

Your guest post was awesome Niki, one of your best. It reminds me of what attracted me to your original blog in the first place. I totally understand why you choose to live as you do, and I think your children's lives will be so much the richer (in the best way) for it.

The little tractor is so cute; it makes me wish my guys were still small enough for something like that. They grow up too fast.

Re: Guest post

What a great post, Niki! Your boys are so lucky to have a mom who's home for them. That's one of the reasons I decided to babysit. I get to do what I love(look after kids) and it gave Brittany a chance to have kids around, since she's an only child. Plus, I get to play with kids and then they go home. You get your horses and your kids get you. So rare today.
