I wanted to start my first post on to topic nearest and dearest to my heart….you’re thinking kids, right? Nope too easy.... it's coffee.
Mornings suck! What's worse than mornings? Early mornings. With a toddler and a baby, the ability to sleep past 6:00 in the morning is a pipe dream. I reluctantly admitted intravenous injections of caffeine was not an option, so I had to come up with an alternative. To simplify my coffee making routine I dedicated a little niche in my kitchen to all things java. The lower shelf of my cupboard houses several mason jars neatly lined up and labelled and the upper shelves hold the mugs and paper filters
Some of the contents of the mason jars are:

Regular flavour
Flavoured coffee (for when I am feeling wild)
Hot chocolate
Whitener (I know it’s bad for me but honestly I don’t care)
Instant coffee (aka fake coffee)
Tea bags
Sugar and sweetener packs
Having this in one place makes the morning routine flawless. Now if only the rest of my day would follow suit.
