Kitchen Drawer Organizers
I have been looking at some really cool organizing systems for my new kitchen. I have ordered my cupboard accessories and have held off on my drawer organizers as the prices are very steep. I would love to hear how everyone else is organizing their kitchen drawers and some price saving products that will do the same job.

Re: Kitchen Drawer Organizers
Hey Small Change,
Dollarama is THE best place for organizing kitchen drawers on a budget. You can usually get 2-3 little baskets for a dollar or the bigger baskets for a dollar each. If you don't have a Dollarama, you can try a department store such as Wal-Mart for the following Rubbermaid products:
http://www.rubbermaid.com/rubbermaid/product/product.jhtml?prodId=HPProd100147

The great thing about these is that you can buy different sizes and re-organize things very easily, move them from drawer to drawer and re-use them for other things at another time.

Let me know if you're successful at finding the baskets.

Re: Kitchen Drawer Organizers
Hi Jacki,

I have been doing this for years, in the kitchen and the bathroom and you know it has been working great so why change it. You start to see all these fancy, high end products and get caught up in the beauty of it all, but it really just needs to function well. Thanks for the Rubber Maid link, lots of good ideas there.

Re: Kitchen Drawer Organizers
Hey Small Change,
You said it. It needs to function well FIRST and look good SECOND!
If you use lower priced, but functional items in your drawers and cupboards where nobody looks then you can use the money you've saved to buy more expensive items that function and look good in areas that everybody will see, such as a storage ottoman for the living room.
